Saira Mumtaz

Author of UNSILENCED: They Built the Cage. I Built the Door., survivor advocate, mother of three and IT Project Manager.

Saira Mumtaz was born into a high-control household where her future was decided before she was old enough to name her own dreams. Her memoir traces what it meant to survive abuse, an arranged marriage at seventeen, controlling relationships, family separation and the cultural silence that protected everyone except the child who needed protection.

After leaving, Saira rebuilt her life while raising her children and establishing a career in information technology. Her public work explores survival, single motherhood, high-functioning trauma, ADHD in women, perimenopause and the courage required to break generational cycles.
